Single flute end mill with a special Ta-C coating for dry machining of aluminium.

The milling cutters convince with an even longer tool life than our DLC coated tools. The Ta-C coating almost completely prevents the chips from sticking to the cutting edge. The Ta-C coating offers particularly high wear protection with a hardness of approx. 6000 HV and an extremely low friction value. The tool life is much longer than with the DLC coating.  The area of application is in the milling of aluminium signs made of solid aluminium or in the milling of aluminium composite plates.
