The Z-axis setting device for wear-free tool calibration. After zeroing, the reference height is 50 mm and only needs to be subtracted from the Z-axis value. The underside is equipped with magnets so that lateral calibration is also easily possible.

The device is suitable for CNC machines that do not have their own scanning system, but can also be used for measuring on the machine bed without magnets.

The graduation is 1/100 mm and the piston can retract beyond the zero point without damaging the milling tool. The dial gauge can be set to the exact zero point by turning it.
